Use Reference Images
Reference images give the generation a visual starting point. They are optional — generation works fine without them.
The limit varies by model
Different models allow different numbers of reference images. The heading of the reference image section states the current model's limit; rely on what the page shows.
When you switch models, any uploaded reference images beyond the new model's limit are removed automatically, without a confirmation prompt.
If you plan to switch models and want to keep specific references, switch first and upload afterwards.
Uploading
Add images in the “Reference Images” section. Added images appear there and the count is reflected in the section heading.
Reference images are saved into the local draft and restored the next time you open the page.
Reusing from history
Choosing “Reuse Parameters” on a task in the history list brings that task's reference images back into the parameter panel.
If that task carried more reference images than the model you currently have selected allows, the extras are trimmed the same way.
