Image Enhancement
Before you start
Image Enhancement is part of the Media Processing workspace and processes existing images. Prepare an active team project and one source image. Local uploads support PNG, JPG/JPEG, and WebP, up to 10 MB per image. The server checks image specifications again when quoting and submitting.
If you need a project, read Create Your First Team Project.
1. Select a project and source image
Choose Image Enhancement in the Media Processing categories, then confirm a valid project.
Available sources include:
- Local upload: select a valid project before uploading one image.
- From Asset Library: find an image by name or category and confirm your selection.
- Generated result: choose Image Enhancement in an image-generation task's details to bring its result and available project context into the workspace.
To replace the source, remove the current image and add another. Each task processes one image.
2. Choose a model and output mode
Use the models and ranges currently shown on the page. Choose the model before configuring output:
| Output mode | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Scale by multiple | Enter a scale factor within the selected model's allowed range. |
| Target dimensions | Enter at least a width or height as a positive number of whole pixels. If only one side is specified, the other follows the original aspect ratio. |
The target long edge must fit the current model's limit. Review expected output dimensions after changing the source, model, or output settings.
3. Choose an enhancement strategy when available
Supported models display an Enhancement Strategy control:
- Fidelity First: aims to preserve the original content.
- Generative First: adds texture and detail more actively.
If person appearance, text, or product details matter, inspect those areas in the completed result before using it.
If the result differs too much from the source, use Fidelity First when supported and inspect important details before accepting the output.
4. Review the quote and submit
Once the project, source, and parameters are valid, the page obtains Estimated Cost and shows expected output dimensions. The quote follows the current model and settings rather than a fixed price.
Wait for quoting to finish, confirm the cost and dimensions, then select Start Enhancement. If quoting fails or input is invalid, resolve the displayed issue before submitting.
What you should see
After submission, Preview shows a processing state. Once successful, it displays the enhanced result alongside the source when the source image is available.
- Choose Download Image to save the result.
- Choose Import to Asset Library and confirm the target project and episode to save reusable media.
- Open History to see parameter summaries, statuses, and creation times. Select a task to view its result again or delete an unwanted record.
Preview and History here belong to image enhancement. Other media tools have their own task lists.
Troubleshooting
- Upload is unavailable: confirm that the project is valid, the format is supported, and the file is within the upload limit.
- No quote or submission is blocked: check the source, model, scale range, and target dimensions, then wait for the latest quote.
- Enhancement fails: open the historical task, read its error, and correct the source or settings before submitting again.
